In this week’s podcast episode, I talk about the U.S. inauguration and the historic swearing in of Kamala Harris as the first female, African-American, and Asian-American Vice President. I also read a section from inaugural poet Amanda Gorman’s poem, The Hill We Climb. Gorman is the youngest inaugural poet at age 22 and is a National Youth Poet Laureate. I highlight how shades of purple were worn by prominent women and its significance. If you’re a misfit entrepreneur who doesn’t quite fit the mold or sorta doesn’t fit the mold, I share some tidbits from a humorous and informative business book I am currently reading, Confessions of a Misfit Entrepreneur, by Kate Toon.
