Uplifting Playlist for Overcoming Hard Times

Let’s face it. Life is tough sometimes. A constant juggling act. Work, family, friends, extracurricular activities (yours and your family’s). Sometimes you get the wind knocked out of you, figuratively speaking.

2019 was a challenging year.

I had to make difficult decisions–notably, divorce (yeah, again).

Not to mention….health emergencies. I worked (and am still working) through intense anxiety after my mom was diagnosed with some heavy-duty, hardcore health issues. As if the dreaded ‘c’ word wasn’t enough, throw in a pulmonary embolism to the mix. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Since I’m not great at multi-tasking, I’m also (still) trying to get a grip, well, a second opinion, on my own medical issues.

As if battling constant fatigue thanks to Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism (an autoimmune disease) weren’t enough, I got sideswiped with some lovely women’s health issues. Yes, hello ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids. Nice to meet you–not.

So when the glass seems likes it’s half empty,  it’s time to fill it up by cranking up the volume and bringing on a playlist of inspiring music to help you overcome hard times.

Instead of getting frustrated by life’s obstacles, I try to focus my energy on overcoming them by listening to these uplifting songs. Here are some of my favorites!
